Barley Beef is offered by Rastovich Family Farms, Deschutes County's first Century Farm. We offer all natural beef, raised with care and sustainability. We believe in providing the highest quality beef and strive to ensure that our customers are getting a product that is healthy, nutritious, and delicious.
We want to do more than just feed our community, we want to cultivate it.
Deschutes County's First Century Farm
We've been farming and ranching in Central Oregon for over a century, carrying on the traditions of our ancestors - from our care of the land to feeding cows spent grains from the beer-making process!
Our roots were put down in 1919 by George Rastovich. Today, Barley Beef is a multi-generational ranch serving the people of Central Oregon, feeding our cattle the same way our grandfather & great-grand father did: good grass and spent grains from beer!
Let us tell you a little bit about what we do. We partner with several breweries in Central Oregon to take their spent grains (what would otherwise end up in a landfill) and feed it to our cows.

Ground Beef
From meatballs or burger, lasagna to chili, our ground beef has a delicious, rich flavor from the delicious grain our cows eat every day! Our beef comes butcher-wrapped in 1lb packages. We also have 10- and 15-lb bulk bags for caterers, events, and restaurants!

Locker Beef
From whole cows to 1/8 beef, we have the amount to suit your family's needs. When you buy a 1/2 or 1/4, you get the same cuts as you would a full cow, only 1/2 or 1/4 the weight, so you're not missing out on any cuts!

Summer Sausage & Pepperoni
Whether for a holiday get together or just enjoying a summer time snack, summer sausage and pepperoni is always in season. Our summer sausage comes in 1.5lb sticks, and our pepperoni comes in a 1lb package (of ~10 sticks per package).
